Better Speech and Hearing Month - Asia Blackwell, SLP
As part of Better Speech and Hearing Month, today we want to spotlight one of our most talented and most skilled SLPs, Asia Blackwell.
The first word that comes to mind when describing Asia is "compassionate". Asia draws a smile from all of her patients, as though they light up when she enters the room. She is well respected and admired by her peers and the staff at Futurecare Good Samaritan.
Asia is never afraid to step up to the plate and take on new challenges, both professionally and personally. Asia's warm personality, kind smile, and sharp skills put the most apprehensive patients at ease. Along with both caring characteristics and her luring charisma, there is never an obstacle that Asia cannot overcome. She's a genuine professional in all areas that perfectly represent the core qualities of an exemplary FutureCare employee.
Asia is always looking for something new to learn and perfect. She completed her FEES competency shortly after graduating from the Master's program at Loyola University and is now a lead therapist and a FEES endoscopy Trainor. Asia is well decorated with certifications including Vital Stim and Myofascial Release. She also works part time with young children with speech and language difficulties.
FutureCare is proud to have Asia Blackwell as part of our Rehabilitation Team. Thank you for your continued service and dedication to our patients.
