Meet Mary Apple Castillo

To continue our belated celebrations of Care Managers Week, we are excited to feature our Senior Regional Care Manager, Mary Apple Castillo! Mary Apple has been a nurse for 19 years and joined the FutureCare family 8 years ago when she decided to move her nursing career towards Care Management. As our Senior Regional Care Manager, she plays an active role as a resource in coordinating and transitioning patients from acute to post-acute settings. She works closely with the hospital team in planning a patient's course of care. Mary Apple enjoys being part of a team and helping them ease the transition process for a patient and their family. Most of all, she loves representing FutureCare as a voice of reassurance during the overwhelming situations for patients and families.
Outside of work, Mary Apple spends her time with her family. She's also an event singer! Three words she would use to describe herself are personable, detail oriented, and reliable, and that is certainly evident in the quality of work and dedication Mary Apple provides to her community. She feels blessed to be part of the FutureCare community and the motivation our community provides for her to leave a positive impact in every situation, and we, too, couldn't be more grateful for her work.
