May is Better Hearing and Speech Month

It's Better Hearing and Speech Month! This month gives us the chance to spread awareness about communication disorders and the importance of healthcare specialists that offer innovative treatments.
At FutureCare, our Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are responsible for working with patients who have speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing challenges. Our SLPs are certified in the Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) testing. FutureCare's unique in-house FEES program provides access to advanced machinery that enables our SLPs to diagnose the actual pathology causing the patient's swallowing impairment so the problem can be addressed in the most efficient manner.
Special shout out to Lubna Nabulsi, our Senior Speech Language Pathologist who conducts the training and continuous education sessions in FEES and other procedures for our SLPs. Thank you to all our Speech Language Pathologists for the incredible work you do!
