National Stroke Awareness Month

May is National Stroke Awareness Month and we would like to share some facts about strokes from the CDC to help you recognize the signs and symptoms that can reduce risk of death:
- Be aware of common stroke symptoms with the acronym F.A.S.T. (Face. Arms. Speech. Time.)
- Strokes can happen at any age at any time
- 80% of strokes are preventable, and you can decrease your chances of having one by living a healthy lifestyle
If you or a loved one suffers from a stroke, we at FutureCare can help with rehabilitation to help you return to the best possible version of yourself.
