Team FutureCare Participates in Annual Baltimore Kidney Walk
Baltimore, MD--May 5, 2014--On Sunday, May 4th, a group of FutureCare employees, family members, and friends participated in the 12th Annual Baltimore Kidney Walk. FutureCare secured over $11,000 in sponsorship for the Walk and, using everything from internal fundraisers and newsletters to Walk giveaways, raised over $1,300 through their corporate Kidney Walk team. Led by Gary Attman and Holly O'Shea, the FutureCare team was the largest at the event and they made sure that a great time was had by all!
Later, when the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD) held their annual Volunteer Awards Reception, FutureCare received the Corporate Partner of the Year Award. During the award presentation, NKF-MD stated that "The Foundation could not be more thankful for [FutureCare's] drive and support of the kidney community. They are a company that not only talks the talk, but literally walks the walk when supporting the community."
